June 22, 2014. When Joe Bennett and wife Liz (Sibert) told me they were coming to LA for a visit, my immediate thought was; "Goody! Another "Gypsy" reunion at "Cravings Restaurant" on Sunset! And that it was. Students of Joe, dancers that he and Liz worked with on Broadway and TV came from everywhere. Some they hadn't seen in many years!

They knew there was going to be a luncheon, however, they thought for around ten people. Everyone invited was asked not to email the Bennetts. It was best to keep everyone attending a surprise guest.

You can imagine the surprise when 80 people showed up. Name tags of course!

Joe's brother Paul Bennett supplied the photo for the cake and his handsome son Morgan didn't tell his dad that he and fiancée Sarah would be there.

Joe and I worked together in "A Chorus Line" on Broadway.

Huge surprise was Margie Duncan who runs The Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio where Joe taught for many years.

Lori Binkley of Karabel Dancewear was very helpful in tracking down Joe's friends and dancers.

Joe, Robbin Joffred and Maria Henley who worked with Joe in a company of WSS (West Side Story).

Rosemarie Rand forwarded one of my emails to Joe which is how we reconnected! Barry Preston in the background.

As you can tell, Joe was so happy to see Arlene Parness, moi and Lee Wilson who was also in "A Chorus Line".
