Another birthday!

We celebrated our gal pal Nora Garcia Farr's birthday at AGO restaurant where the "American Hustle" stars celebrated after winning the SAG Award.

More fun at the start of 2014! Jimmy and his buddy Miguel go way back to when they used to play guitar and drums in a garage!

Now Miguel's sons Chris and Josh are becoming musicians, so we took them to the Catalina Jazz Club to see and meet the best.

None other than drummer Dave Weckl and his band. Wow! Chris is already pretty cool on drums, but now he's even more inspired.

On piano, the most fantastic pianist ever, Makoto Ozone.

And the best saxophonist ever, Gary Meek.

As an added treat, the all time genius Quincy Jones was in the audience.

Also in the audience was the sensational Lee Ritenour. Would you say Josh lucked out too? He's becoming a guitarist.

Miguel's wife Roni had lots to smile about and so did I !!

Legendary casting director Marvin Paige's memorial service, Celebration of Life, was held on his birthday, January 26th at the Egyptian Theatre. Of the many attendees was Leonard Maltin who had just flown back from the Sundance Film Festival.

Close friends of Marvin, actor H. M. Wynant, wife Paula and daughter Posha. H. M. spoke so eloquently even though he had left his notes at home!

Sybil Danning saying hello to Sharon and Ray Courts who flew in from Florida to attend. Ray is coming back to the autograph world everyone...shhhhhh!

I read two beautiful tributes from those unable to attend. One from Rona Barrett and the other from George Pennacchio & ABC. Six hundred people were there, many of them celebrities, far too many to mention.
